To make mywifiext working, follow the tips highlighted below.

The Basic Tips

Ensure that your Netgear extender isn’t receiving discontinuous power supply. A continuous power supply to the device is must. Why? Look, if your extender isn’t getting a steady power supply, then how will it turn on? And, if isn’t turned on, then how would you access Netgear_ext? And, if you won’t access Netgear_ext, then how will the mywifiext resources work for you?

The solid connection between your Netgear extender and router is very much important to access mywifiext resources.

Most importantly: There must not be any typos in the web address, mywifiext.net. If you want, you are more than a welcome to copy the web address from here and paste in the browser’s URL bar. It is strictly recommended, do not use the search bar for entering the web address. Else, you will never be able to access mywifiext resources, no matter you are committing typing errors or not.

The Advanced Tip

Now, coming back to the issue, if basic tips don’t help you out to access mywifiext resources, then try rebooting your WiFi network. This can be easily done by power cycling or restating the extender.

For this, you simply have to disconnect all the devices that are connected to the Netgear extender, even your WiFi router. Then, you have to unplug the extender from its respective wall outlet and wait for some time. After that, you can turn on the extender and connect it to your router.

Doing so will somehow help you to have access to the mywifiext resources again.
